Philosophy

The sport of climbing in Zermatt has increased tremendously in the last few years. In 1982 the first routes were made in the area called the “Gornerflüe”. Since new routes are being discovered all the time, we would like to keep you updated for "free" with the latest information. You can download the according topo in the section "Topo Download".

These informations are absolutely "free of charge" for all climbers at all times.

Every climber is taking his own responsibility to climb on the route-information given here. In general all pre installed equipment found on the climbing areas are not checked frequently and therefore it is up on the climbers own responsibility to use the equipment installed and informations contained in the "topos"
